Admin – Manage Corporations

EDIT A CORPORATION (NON-NAS USERS)

This section will allow you to edit the settings for your corporation, including its contact information, its headquarters location, and the custom filter categories for your sites.

STEP 1

From “Administration Dashboard,” click Manage My Corporation in order to reach the “View Corporation” page.

The “View Corporation” page will display.  In order to edit any of the information seen here, click Edit Corporation at the bottom of the page. (If you do not know the corporation address, contact an authority at the corporation you will be managing.  Your corporation also needs a user in the iCON system to take on the ownership role.)

The “Edit Corporation” page will display. Enter your Corporate Owner’s name here. If you are unsure of their full name or spelling, entering three characters will show you a list of up to 10 likely options.  If your Corporate Owner is not a user in the iCON system, click Create User in order to add them. When the user creation process is complete, you will be returned to this page with any previously filled form fields still intact.


Custom Categories are filtering categories for your corporation that will be used to classify your sites into groups you choose. For example, if your corporation has stores of multiple brands or concepts, you can create a “Brands” category and create an option for each brand name.

You can create up to three custom categories for your corporation. Each category can have as many options as you like.

Create a category by entering a name for it. Click Add to add an option for this category.  Use the arrow buttons to move options up and down on the List of Options in order to customize the order in which the options appear elsewhere in the portal. Click Delete to remove an option from the list. When you are finished editing your corporation’s information, click Update Corporation at the bottom of the screen.


ADMIN/CORPORATIONS (NAS USERS)

CREATE NEW CORPORATION

It is necessary to create a new corporation in the iCON system before any sites or equipment can be added and managed therein.

There are two ways to reach the “Create Corporation” page:

  1. From the Administration dashboard, click Create Corporation OR
  2. From “Manage Corporations,” click the New button at the top right.

This section of “Create Corporation” includes standard address information.  If you do not know the corporation address, contact an authority at the corporation you will be managing.

CORPORATE OWNER

The corporation needs a user in the iCON system to take on the ownership role.

Click Manage Corporations on the Administration dashboard.

The “Manage Corporations” page will display.  Click the radio button for the corporation you wish to edit, and then click View in order to see that corporation’s information.

The “View Corporation” page will display.  Double-check that the information is accurate. In order to edit any of the information seen here, click Edit Corporation at the bottom of the page.

CREATE CUSTOM CATEGORIES
